How can you make a difference?

As an Education Officer, you will support the program development and planning Research and analyze regional and national political, education, social and economic development trends. Support preparation of technical reports and provide inputs for program preparation and documentation. Also, you are responsible for Program management, monitoring and delivery of results through working closely collaboratively with internal and external colleagues and partners. Networking and partnership building with government counterparts and national stakeholders through active sharing of information and knowledge to facilitate program implementation and build capacity of stakeholders is one of your major tasks in this post. In this job, you need to have the ability of Innovation, knowledge management and capacity building.

 

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…

  • Education: A university degree in one of the following fields is required: education, psychology, sociology, or another relevant technical field.
  • Experience: A minimum of two years of professional experience in programme planning, management, and/or research in education is required.
  • Relevant experience in a UN system agency or organization is considered as an asset.

 

  • Language Requirements: Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language or local language of the duty station is considered as an asset.
