Last updated: Feb 2022

Ta3mal is committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy statement applies to the data collected by Ta3mal through the Ta3mal site (the "Site"); it does not apply to other online or offline sites, products, or services.

Collection of Your Information

We collect information in order to operate effectively and provide you the best products, services, and experiences we can. Some of this information you provide directly to us. Some of it we get by observing how you interact with our site. We believe it's important to treat that information with care and to help you maintain your privacy. The personal information we collect may include:

  • Personal information, such as your e-mail address, name, home or work address, or telephone number. We may also collect demographic information, such as your age and gender. Additionally, if you want to use any of the Ta3mal career-related services, we may ask you to provide your resume and profile information.
  • In order to access some Ta3mal services, you will be asked to sign in with an e-mail address and password.
  • We collect additional information about your interaction with the Ta3mal site and its related services without identifying you as an individual. For example, we receive certain standard information that your browser sends to every website you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and language, access times and referring Web site addresses. We also use Web site analytics tools on our sites to retrieve information from your browser, including the site you came from, the search engine(s) and the keywords you used to find our site, the pages you view within our site, your browser add-ons, and your browser's width and height.
  • We use technologies, such as cookies, to collect information about the pages you view, the links you click and other actions you take on our sites and services.

If you choose to sign in with Facebook or similar sites, we import the requested information from your account and we make it part of your profile. Because the Ta3mal site is intended to allow you to share your information, we make certain information about you publicly available by default. Such information may, for example, be accessed by everyone on the Internet, including users without accounts, and may appear in public search engine search results. However, you can control the visibility of your information by managing your privacy settings. You can also restrict the information available to others by deleting information you do not want visible or by not providing it at all.

We also may collect information that tells us how you interact with our services, including the browser you're using, your IP address, location, cookies or other unique IDs, the pages you visit and features you use. We use a number of methods and technologies to gather information about how you use our sites and services, such as:

  • Web forms, such as when you type information into a registration form or type a search query into a search box.
  • Technologies like cookies and web beacons
  • Web logging, which enables us to collect the standard information your browser sends to every web site you visit - such as your IP address, browser type and language, and the site you came from - as well as the pages you visit and the links you click while using our sites and services.

Use of Your Information

Ta3mal uses the information we collect to operate, improve, and personalize the products and services we offer and to provide the service(s) or carry out the transaction(s) you have requested or authorized. We also may use the information to communicate with you, for example, informing you when a subscription is ending, letting you know when security updates are available or letting you know when you need to take action to keep your account active.

Sharing Personal Information

Except as described in this statement, we will not disclose your personal information outside of Ta3mal and its affiliates without your consent.

Ta3mal partners with various content providers to enhance your experience on our Site. These content providers may be in the form of services such as providing you with learning content from Alison, making job opportunities available from other service providers.

In order to enable these partners to deliver the appropriate services to you, we share personal information (such as username and email), demographic information (such as age and gender), and other information relevant to that specific service, including resume and profile information. While the type of data shared varies according to the partner, the information we share with them is meant to improve your user experience so that you don't have to continually re-enter information.

Because your web browser must request the content from the content provider's servers, these providers can view, edit, or set their own cookies, collect your IP address, page header information, browser information, and other non-personally identifiable information just as if you had visited their website directly.

Ta3mal or its affiliates may occasionally hire other companies to provide limited services on our behalf, such as handling the processing and delivery of mailings, providing customer support, hosting websites, processing transactions, or performing statistical analysis of our services. Those service providers will be permitted to obtain only the personal information they need to deliver the service. They are required to maintain the confidentiality of the information and are prohibited from using it for any other purpose than for delivering the service to Ta3mal in accordance with Ta3mal's instructions and policies. However, our affiliates may use aggregate data for fraud detection to help improve their services. This helps them to detect fraudulent transactions more accurately.

We may access or disclose information about you, including the content of your communications, in order to: (a) comply with the law or respond to lawful requests or legal process; (b) protect the rights or property of Ta3mal or our users, including the enforcement of our agreements or policies governing your use of the services; or (c) act on a good faith belief that such access or disclosure is necessary to protect the personal safety of Ta3mal employees, users or the public. We may also disclose personal information as part of a corporate transaction such as a merger or sale of assets.

When we share information with these other companies to provide services for us, they are not allowed to use it for any other purpose and must keep it confidential.

We also may share or disclose personal information, including the content of your communications:

  • To comply with the law or respond to legal process or lawful requests, including from law enforcement and government agencies.
  • To protect the rights or property of Ta3mal or our customers, including enforcing the terms governing your use of the services
  • To act on a good faith belief that access, or disclosure is necessary to protect the personal safety of Ta3mal employees, customers, or the public.
