The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE) and Education Above All Foundation (EAA) invite qualified candidates to apply for a full-time position in a secondary school in Doha, Qatar. The School launched in the 2021-2022 Academic Year and follow Years 7-13 of the International Cambridge Curriculum, in addition to vocational tracks according to the Pearson BTEC qualifications. The School provides access to high school completion for children who are not currently enrolled at schools in Qatar or are behind their grade level due to significant financial barriers. The School also provides academic continuity for students transferring from other MOEHE-EAA schools for out-of-school-children. The School is designed to adopt a dual approach, offering an academic track with an added applied-skills component to facilitate access to high school completion and the acquisition of hands-on, occupationally-aligned skills. The School operates under the governance of a School Board of Trustees, comprised of representatives from the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, Education Above All Foundation, University of Doha for Science and Technology, First Assalam School, as well as donor bodies. Under the supervision of the School Board, the new school has been established to provide an inclusive, transformative educational environment that acknowledges and respects children from diverse cultural, linguistic, and socio-economic backgrounds and facilitates their development of academic and applied, hands-on skills. The school aspires to nurture students’ resilience and independence such that they become active, contributing members of society.
